Halloween Shenanigans!!

Cause who doesn't love dressing up in crazy outfits and running around in the dark to find cool prizes..?! 

Come join us for a little trail running "trick or treating" in the forest... at night.. with headlamps, on Halloween, with awesome prizes to be won from Salomon West Van, PNWT, Anchored Fitness and more :) . 

All skill levels welcome!! You will be provided 1.25 hours to run about to varying locations provided on event night, where you may potentially gain a trick or a treat :) . Bring a friend for some extra company in the woods, partnership will be encouraged. Prizes will also be won for costume creativity, number of locations reached, and much much more! You will just have to show up and find out for yourself!

All we can say is start studying the Lynn Valley loop, suspension bridge, headwaters area if you are not familiar with the area yet! We ask that you please refrain from any gory, menacing costumes that will be terrifying in the night! Don't forget your charged headlamp and costume, hope to see you there!

It's Diez Fall Time!

It's that time again for some fun weekend adventure with you all!! 

Join us for a beauty jaunt around Diez Vistas Oct 22nd at 9am! Route up on Strava

All skills levels and abilities welcome! Diez Vista is a beautiful 14k route with +700m elevation and some great views. Route will be marked with front, mid and back of pack sweeps to ensure no one gets lost! 

For those looking to do a smaller distance and intensity, come and loop Buntzen lake with some of our members! 10k route, beautiful views the whole time! 

Meet at 9am in main Buntzen Parking lot for pre-run chat, lower far East Side, closest to the dog beach... look for a bunch o' trailrunners .

Lastly, and largely important, in PNWT style, make sure you bring an extra set of clothes so you can hang around after and join us for some local Yellowdog Brews!! Can't wait to see you all out there to take in this beautiful course!

WAM Pre-run!

Mark your Calendars and come join us for a Pre-Run of the Whistler Alpine Meadows course to get you race day ready!! 

Join us- August 27th- for a preview of the beautiful WAM 25k course!!

Mandatory check in at Meadow Parks Sports Centre Field at 740am 

Due to the distance, intensity and duration expected for this run, we ask that this is NOT your first attempt running this distance or elevation. Also, we ask that you have run a similar distance or intensity to this in the last 2 months. We will be starting the pre-run at 8am sharp to accommodate for expected time out on course. We expect average time out on course to be between 3.5-6 hours. Due to the nature of this event and the alpine ascent, we have a mandatory gear list that we will be checking before we head out on course.

It is required for this event that you carry:  

1) Whistle 2) Space blanket 3) Buff or toque 4) Gloves 5) Long sleeve wind jacket 6) Cell phone 7) Lighter or matches 8) Headlamp or flashlight 9) Printed course map (please print your own copy) 10) 1000 calories (enough for 4 hours on route) 11) Ability to carry two litres of water (starting the run carrying a minimum 1.5L) 12) Cell phone with run leaders numbers (provided upon registration)

Natural water sources are available in the alpine and though there are no known issues with water quality, we recommend packing along a water purifier if at all possible!

This gear will be non-negotiable and is for everyone's safety. If you are missing any of these items, you may be asked not to join us on course.

This course in years previous has experienced issues with ground wasp nests. If you are joining, we ask that you come prepared to deal with wasp bites. This is an organized pre run with NO additional aid stations or external First Aid support, please be aware of this and come prepared! Please inform us if you have allergies or issues with bees or wasps. 

As with all our events, registration is required, please sign up below! Also, we will be taking donations for the local Search and Rescue Crew. This is not required, but we love support our local teams, so help out with $5+ if you can :). 

Lastly, and largely important, in PNWT style, make sure you bring an extra set of clothes so you can hang around after and join us for some local Whistler Brew!! Can't wait to see you all out there to take in this beautiful course before race day!

Official Unofficial Inaugural Anchored Fitness Fun Run!

Join us and our sister Anchored Fitness crew for the Inaugural Anchored Fitness Fun Run Saturday June 17th!!

This is a FREE "unofficial race".  Registration is required. Please head over to http://www.pnwtrailrunners.com/im-in to register. 

5.6k short course and 7k long course routes available around beautiful Lynn Valley. Both courses circle Rice Lake. Long route adds 80 additional meters of climb and takes you over the Lynn Valley Suspension Bridge. 

"Race" starts at 8am sharp, with check in and debrief at 740am. PLEASE ensure to show up early to make sure you can get parking and checked in by 755am. We will be meeting outside on the north side of End of the Line General Store.

This will be a self assisted race. There will not be any aid stations, so please plan to carry water with you and fuel if you know you need it for this run! 

In PNWT style, we will be taking donations for North Shore Search and Rescue. Also, bring a change of clothes so you can stick around for the draw prizes and grab a coffee from our friends at End of the Line post race! There will be some fun draw prizes for all those who come to run. Hope you can all make it!

CMTS Buckin Hell Pre-Run!

Mark your Calendars and come join us for a Pre-Run of the Buckin Hell course to get you race day ready!! 

15k race route on tap! 

Registration is free, but a minimum $5 donation to Northshore SAR is encouraged and appreciated. You can donate through the NSAR site, or we will be taking donations day of as well.

In PNWT big run style, we will be doing a social at Bridge Brewing post run! 

Registration in Buckin Hell Race is not required to run the pre-run, but is HIGHLY encouraged!

This is a self-supported run. There will not be an aid station. Participants should be comfortable with the distance and nor should it be your first attempt at this distance. No members of the CMTS organization will be in attendance

SOTF Pre-Run!

Come join us for a Pre-Run of the Survival of the Fittest CMTS course to get you race day ready!! 

Registration will be $5 with all proceeds going to SSAR . Registration is required, please follow the link to sign up : run registration

Run: 13k and 18k routes will be available

Sunday Seymour Time!

For all those running Buckin' Hell, here's some early prep ;)

    •    11- 14 km round trip - with option for early drop out

    •    2-3 hrs expected out on trail

    •    MUST carry own water (minimum 1 litre) and calories (minimum 500)

    •    Decent climbing route, this will be a INTERMEDIATE run

Meet at the Old Buck Trail Head parking lot at 8am, we will be heading out shortly after!

Come experience our favourite training route on the local trails, and get some beauty cove views! 

Here's to hoping it will be a Sunny Sunday Seymour Time!

November Adventure!

We have two routes in mind, lets just say, it is going to be epic!!
